And introducing Drv'dxx, who is possibly my favorite character to draw. Though in this, his first appearance, he has eyelids, which he will never have again. And which he really shouldn't have had here. When I get around to redoing the fonts and rerendering all the old strips, the eyelids are going to be removed.
Oh, remember I said in the "news" to the first strip that I'd never used those "Splut" and "Thunk" fonts again? Apparently that was a lie; there in the first panel is the "Splut" font being used to spell the strip's title. Though that wasn't really a good use of it; I tried to find more creative ways to work the title into that first panel thereafter. (With one embarrassing exception.)
Also worth mentioning: Yes, I know Drv'dxx's font is virtually illegible. I did improve it a bit by his next speaking appearance... but admittedly not nearly enough. Yes, I do plan on giving him a more legible font when I redo the fonts, so after that his dialogue should become easier to read.
