By the way, the transparency effect on the fire in the first panel and the goblet in the third? (Okay, I admit it's subtle in this strip, but it's there.) At the time I drew this strip, the version of Adobe Illustrator I had didn't support transparency. So I had to do this through a workaround... I exported the file into Photoshop with all the layers intact, and handled the transparency there. Fortunately, I since got a more recent version of Illustrator, so the transparency could all be done there. (Although I still had to export it into Photoshop to crop it correctly—but at least I didn't have to export it in separate layers.)
