See those black specks in some of the dialogue balloons? I still don't know what caused those. It's possible there was some issue with the fonts—I was continually revising the fonts throughout these early strips (though I never revised them nearly as much as I should have, and as I still plan to). But one thing that makes me think that may be unlikely is the fact that they show up in both Erlak's dialogue balloons and the champion's, and they use different fonts, and it seems odd that both fonts would have the same issues. (Okay, they're not in Erlak's dialogue balloons in today's strip, but they are in tomorrow's.) On the other hand, they do seem to consistently appear at the same position at spaces in the dialogue... but not at every space... so... Hm. Okay, it probably was something to do with the font somehow, but I'm not at all sure what.
Regardless, those specks are going to be showing up for another week's worth of strips. Enjoy! Don't worry, though; this is yet another thing that's going to be gone when I finally get around to redoing the fonts and rerendering the strips.
