When I first ran the strip when this meeting was set up, I recall at least one person commenting that he was sure the meeting wasn't going to happen. Despite what the champion said in that strip, though, I had every intention of its taking place—unlike the October 15 strip, this strip was indeed planned and written well in advance.
While I did plan for Snormar to reappear here, though, I hadn't necessarily thought of him on his first appearance as a major recurring character. Though under the circumstances , I suppose it was more or less inevitable that he would become one...
Bah. I'm kind of giving a spoiler here, aren't I? Sorry. I'll try not to do that.
