As was the case with the October 12 strip, after this strip originally ran, if I recall correctly, I saw essentially the same joke used somewhere else. Unfortunately, this time I don't remember where I saw it. It could have been in another webcomic again. It could have been in a TV show. I have no idea.
I actually wasn't sure, incidentally, whether Trevalien's correction in the strip was actually accurate. Turns out it is. So hey, that's a plus. On the other hand, his use of the word "epithet" is sort of iffy...
