Okay, yeah, I did get this strip up late. (Yes, I said I'd set a goal of getting the autoupdate script working over Thanksgiving weekend. Weekend's not over yet.) But it wasn't up nearly as late as yesterday's strip. Which in turn wasn't nearly as late as the day before. So... you know... there's that. For what it's worth. Which, admittedly, isn't much.
Also for what it's worth, note that in this strip you do get a look at slightly more of the map of the world engraved on the seat of the bench, as mentioned in the "news" here. Erlak and Nizini are still covering most of it, though.
No, this isn't a build-up to any sort of big revelation. I just decided to put a map of the world on the seat of the bench, and it just happens to be mostly obscured each time it's seen. When and if a full map of the world is ever visible... it's really not going to be a big deal.
