My comics tend to have a lot of text. That is probably not entirely a good thing. I... I just like dialogue, I guess. In my other writing, too, I tend to use a lot of dialogue. In novels, that's fine. In comics and screenplays... I should probably try to rely a little less on dialogue and more on visuals. But I'm just not as good at that as I'd like to be, I guess.
Of course, the huge walls of text would be slightly less of a problem were they actually readable. Yeah... still got to redo those fonts.
It occurs to me that Nizini's line in the last panel could be interpreted as something of a self-referential joke, in that the characters of the strip are in fact literally living in a fantasy world. But it honestly wasn't meant that way. In fact, I don't think that interpretation occurred to me until just now. Hm.
