PANEL ONE: Erlak and Nizini sit on the bench on the Mountains of the Gods. ERLAK: You know what I've decided I want to do? NIZINI: Stop asking pointless rhetorical questions? PANEL TWO: Close on Erlak; Nizini is in profile in the foreground. ERLAK: I want to go exploring! NIZINI: Exploring? PANEL THREE: Extreme close-up on Erlak. ERLAK: To see new vistas! Brave new frontiers! See things never glimpsed before by man or god! PANEL FOUR: Erlak stands, raising his fist to his chest resolutely. ERLAK: With the rain in my face and the wind at my back... NIZINI: Meteorology's not your strong suit, is it?

I need to give Nizini more to do. As it is, whenever she appears, she's basically just a straight man (well, straight woman) for Erlak, and is there mostly to toss off rejoinders to his statements. (There are a few upcoming strips where she appears briefly without Erlak, but only in the context of her doing a favor for him.) I ought to have some stories where she gets more focus, and get into what she does when she's not talking to Erlak. Hmm.

Also, this is another of those strips where I think the alleged punchline is kind of weird and maybe not really funny, and there might be a funnier line in an earlier panel (the first, in this case). Oh well.
