Comic strip for December 21 2023.
PANEL ONE: The nobleman stands in front of the giant bowl of soup, looking upward. NOBLEMAN: Oh, great Erlak, god of soup, we beseech thee to hear our call. We humbly request thine— PANEL TWO: Erlak appears behind the nobleman. ERLAK: What can I do for ya? NOBLEMAN: Aaaaaaah!! PANEL THREE: The nobleman turns toward Erlak. NOBLEMAN: Um... Sorry... you... um... startled me. I wasn't expecting you so soon... or behind me... ERLAK: I know. I love doing that.

Is it worth noting that I was once again late getting this strip up? Probably not. Did I mention it anyway? Apparently. Sorry; I've got a lot I'm dealing with at the moment, and I... kind of forgot about updating the strip until well after midnight. As I've said before, once I get some of the things done on the site that aren't in place yet—the cast page, the archive page, adaptive layout so the site will work on mobile—then I do hope to do something to publicize the strip and hopefully get some readers, and then I'll have to be better about getting everything updated on time, but in the meantime... yeah, I've got a lot of other things I have to get done right now.

(On the off chance that someone did find this comic somehow before the day of this strip despite my not having publicized it and did check the site shortly after midnight before the strip actually went up... uh, sorry.)
